Policy - Explicit Action Plans

8.1.2 Policy - Explicit Action Plans

Respondents were asked if their organization had an explicit action plan on HIV prevention or sexuality. Their responses were similar to those given for the written or explicit policy goals. All education and health respondents were asked if they had or followed an explicit action plan on sexuality.

About one-half of public health units and nurses reported that they have such explicit action plans on sexual health promotion. A minority of respondents from all three levels of the school systems as well as the health ministries reported that they have an explicit plan to promote sexual health.
