8.3.5 Sustained Support - Services Adapted for Youth
Health ministries and public health units were asked a series of questions about the specific support they provided for implementation of sexual health services. Support has been provided in the majority of cases to adapt the services to the needs of adolescents. However, the proportion of services that have been adapted to meet the needs of specific types of youth is not as high.
Three-quarters of health ministries reported that they provide support so that preventive sexual health services can be adapted to meet the specific needs of adolescents. A similar proportion of public health units reported that they also provided support so that the services can be adapted for adolescents. They reported as follows:
