The public health sector was also asked if they had issued guidelines on injection drug use and steroid use, topics that are directly related to the risk of HIV infection. Most health ministries had published guidelines on injection drug use prevention but not on steroid use. Most public health units had not published guidelines on either topic. Public health nurses were asked if they had meetings with school staffs on these topics. Most nurses have not had meetings with school staffs on these issues. The responses were as follows
