8.4.1 Ongoing Activities - Educator Awareness
To examine the social reality of today’s schools, we asked school principals if they were aware of teen pregnancy or HIV disclosures in their school. Very few school principals were aware of any HIV disclosure among students or staff in their school. About one-half of school principals reported that they were aware of students in their school who were pregnant or who were young parents.
